Out of School Club – Lions@Hempland
We provide wraparound care in the form of both breakfast and after school clubs at Hempland Primary School.
The clubs operate Monday to Friday during term time, apart from school training days.

Hours (Monday to Friday during term time):
Breakfast Club: 7:30am to 8:35am
After School Club: Early session 3:15pm/3:20pm to 5:00pm
Full session 3:15pm/3:20pm to 6:00pm
Booking arrangements
Bookings are to be made in advance by contacting Lions directly.
Picking up your Child/ren from After School Club
Children can only be collected by their parent/carer, or those listed on their registration form. If an adult other than those listed is picking up a child, Lions must be informed via either email or phone.
Missed and cancelled sessions
You must inform Lions@Hempland if your child will not be attending the session booked.
You will still be charged for the session, unless you give 1 weeks’ notice or due to a child’s illness from school.
Contact details
Once your child’s place is confirmed, you will need to complete an After School Club Registration form to ensure contact, medical and collection details are correct. It is important that Lions is informed if information changes.
Late collection
Please ensure that your child/ren are picked up from the After School Club as per your bookings. If you arrive after 5pm or you will be charged the full session (6pm) price. Any collections after this time (6pm) will incur a charge, however should you not arrive by 6.30pm, we will follow the School’s policy and contact Children’s services.
Payment
All payments should be made via ParentPay when bookings are made, money should be added to your child’s account in advance of the debt. Childcare Vouchers can still be accepted for whole or part payment. If you wish to pay via this method please contact the school office who help you set this up. Charges for 2026/27 are per session and per child:
Breakfast Club £4.75 per session
Early session £8.50 per session
Full session £10.50 per session
The clubs will both be based in the dining room and KS2 hall and have access to a refurbished, dedicated outdoor space. Children will be provided with breakfast in the morning and a light snack during the after school sessions.
