Year 1 had a great time learning about harvest. They peeled vegetables, tasted soup, learned harvest dances and composed music to represent seed growth. Great work Year 1!

This week, Y6 had the opportunity to go on a WWI walking tour of York. We visited 10 locations and amongst other facts, learnt about Walmgate war horse market, Zeppelin raids on Peaseholme Green and tasted Rowntree's chocolate like soldiers at Christmas in 1914 @YorkMuseumTrust

Years 4, 5 and 6 are enjoying an assembly from @YourUKParl where they are being given an overview of the key parts of Parliament: the House of Commons and House of Lords; voting and general elections; the role of an MP and your local MP; and the government and how laws are made.
