Children in Years 5 and 6 have had a busy but wonderful week filled with sports days, history project work, art and production work. There were certificates for maths progress, creative writing, structure making and music success. Well done everyone!
Here are our fabulous Year 3 and 4 children who have been praised for fantastic writing, resilience in maths, encouragements in sports day, kindness, swimming, cheerleading, and 5km inflatable and muddy runs! Great work!
Year 3 have had a super afternoon practising their play scripts based on Voices in the Park by Anthony Browne!
Our sports days were off to a sunny start this morning with our fantastic EY children who all tried their best and had lots of fun! Thank you parents for coming to support and to Friends of Hempland for organising the ice cream van to come this afternoon for a well earned treat!
Fantastic work from our Year 5 and 6 children this week with excellent writing, resilience in DT, brilliant progress and determination in maths, great listening and a super swimmer!
Here we are again! Friday morning kicked off with amazing achievements from EYFS and KS1! The children had knocked their teachers socks off with their hard work! We also celebrated more swimmers, dancers and competition winners. Well done everyone 😁
What a lovely praise assembly we had with years 3 and 4 this morning: celebrations for kindness, problem solving, resilience, swimming, football and running but to name a few. Well done everyone!

Year 5 and 6 were treated to an inspirational assembly with Al Morrison @rockgodacademy this afternoon! We really enjoyed learning about the electric guitar, hearing the wide range of effects and cool sounds and were able to request numerous songs for Al to play.
A few action shots from our day at the Cricket Tournament at Dunnington Sports Club! Excellent cricket skills and teamwork on display. 👏
Year 3 & 4 praise assembly was jam packed with stories of perseverance, positive attitudes, resilience and determination today. Such a brilliant way to finish of the week! 🤩
